In Nieuw-Vennep this morning a 19-year-old from Amsterdam died in a unilateral accident. The police are currently investigating.

The collision occurred around 7:20 am. Upon arrival, the police found a car that had hit a tree, a spokesperson reported.

According to the police, this is a one-sided collision and the man was the only passenger in the car.

The man’s family has been informed and victim assistance is offered to them. The Traffic Accident Analysis (Verkeersongevallen or VOA) is conducting research.
