Learn how the Dutch tax system works and how to file your Dutch Taxes in the Netherlands during our tax event for employees and small business owners. On Saturday 23 April, from 1:30 to 6PM.

Most citizens in the Netherlands are obliged to fill out their Dutch Tax Forms by May 1st. Time to get all your paperwork in order and do your taxes! The Dutch tax code isn’t always straightforward to understand (even for Dutchies) which is why we have teamed up with the renewed experts at NAHV and House of Tax to give us a hand in these incredibly useful seminars. You will get some financial tips and tricks and there will also be a Q&A session. The first seminar is for employees (both Dutchies and expats) and the second for entrepreneurs (starting and started businesses). We will end the day with a networking drink where you can discuss with our experts in an informal way.

There are some very important considerations making sure you have all the deductions and strategies to minimize your tax bill. Because after all, why should you pay more?

Speakers

Melvin van Jaarsveld – Partner – Tax Advisor at NAHV

After earning a degree in Economics, I worked for various companies where I gained considerable knowledge and experience in the field of taxation and payroll administration. While working full time, I also qualified as an accredited tax advisor with the Register Belastingconsulenten. I joined NAHV in 2003 and became a partner in January 2017.“Everyone has to pay taxes so we can maintain our current welfare system, but of course no one should pay too much… My goal is to make sure clients achieve the greatest tax benefits within the bounds of the law. Next to that, I really enjoy giving workshops and presentations for entrepreneurs and start-ups. Using clear, simple language to explain their rights and obligations when it comes to tax.”

Ilona Veldhuis – Tax Advisor at NAHV

I studied Dutch tax law at the university. I gained professional qualifications in the national and expat tax return practice. My specialism and passion for the profession is in the tax and national insurance contributions in cross-border situations of individuals.
